TarotCardGuide.com is a free guide to the 78 cards of the Rider-Waite-Smith tarot deck, with spreads, virtual readings and articles for anyone who wants to understand the cards and use them well.
Who writes this site
The guides are written under the name Kali, the voice of TarotCardGuide.com: a writer with a love of esoteric traditions, witchcraft and the classic Rider-Waite-Smith imagery. Kali writes about tarot as a practical tool for reflection and decision-making, in plain English and without the jargon.
How the card meanings are written
- The Rider-Waite-Smith tradition. Meanings follow the deck drawn by Pamela Colman Smith and the traditional correspondences of the Golden Dawn system it grew from.
- Every angle of a card. Each card guide covers upright and reversed meanings, love, career and money, spirituality, feelings, advice and a yes-or-no answer.
- Honest examples. Examples on this site are hypothetical and labelled as such. There are no invented client stories or testimonials.
- Reflection, not fear. Difficult cards are explained as honestly as the easy ones, without scaremongering.
What you will find here
